Volume II covers the period 15 April 1812 to January 1813.

Major Events: Battle of Queenston Heights 13 October; the flight of the Royal George 11 November; Battle of Frenchman's Creek 28 November; and the establishment of the Loyal and Patriotic Society 15 December which would provide aid and relief to militia dependents.

Local Events: capture of the Detroit and Caledonia off Fort Erie by the United States Navy (Elliot); armistice in effect from 14 October to 20 November; all citizens of the United States residing in Upper Canada required to report to a board to obtain passports (if they do not aquire one by January 1813 they will be treated as either prisoners of war or as spies); 50 barrels of salt taken from Buffalo to Fort Erien($25.00 per barrel); battle of Frenchman's Creek.
