The Town of Fort Erie is now recruiting for election workers for the 2014 municipal elections. Applicants must be available on Election Day (October 27, 2014) from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and must also attend a mandatory training approximately one week in advance. Applicants for Advance Poll positions must be available to work all four days of the Advance Poll schedule (October 17, 18, 20 and 21, 2014) and certain Advance Poll personnel must also to be available on Election Night (October 27).

Poll Supervisor (Oversees the proper set-up, conduct and closing of the polls and for peace, order and security of the voting place; calls in election results.) To view the job description please click here.

Substation Senior Deputy Returning Officer (A combined Poll Supervisor and Deputy Returning Officer assigned to the Ward 6 substation.) To view the job description please click here.

Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) (Manages an assigned portion of the Voters’ List and accounts for and issues ballots.) To view the job description please click here.

Relief Deputy Returning Officer (Provides temporary relief to any voting location DRO, Vote Tabulator or Revisions Clerk when requested.) To view the job description please click here.
